Fundraising for My Campaign

I hope this letter finds you well. I’m reaching out with exciting news and an important request.
I’ve recently been confirmed as the Ontario Liberal Party candidate for Cambridge riding. As you may have heard, Premier Ford is expected to call an early election within the next 4-8 weeks, creating a sense of urgency as we prepare for this crucial campaign.

Our Opportunity

We’re facing a Progressive Conservative incumbent in Cambridge, but I’m confident we have an excellent chance to turn this riding Liberal. My background as a lawyer and small business operator, former mayor of North Dumfries Township, Regional Councillor, and deep community involvement gives us a strong foundation for success.

The Challenge

A 28-day campaign leaves us little time to reach every voter in Cambridge and North Dumfries. While we have an incredible volunteer base, we need additional resources to amplify our message through various advertising channels, including traditional and social media.

How You Can Help

Your financial support is crucial to our campaign’s success. Here’s how you can contribute:

• The 2025 donation limit is $3,400.00
• Donations must be personal (not corporate)
• Cheques payable to “Cambridge Provincial Liberal Association” or “CPLA”
• A $3,400.00 donation is eligible for a tax credit of approximately $1,536.09
  
  

Tax credit thresholds for 2025:

• 75% on the first $500.05
• 50% on donations between $500.06 and $1,666.82
• 33.33% on portions over $1,666.82
